The Leitz PLEZY is an extension adapter for RMS-thread microscope objectives that increases the parfocal focal length from 37 mm to 45 mm, making older objectives compatible with microscopes designed for a 45 mm parfocal standard It is mounted between the objective and the nosepiece/revolver so that optical focus is maintained despite the additional mechanical extension.
