This is a module used to secure the microscope arm of the Carl Zeiss Jena Amplival to the stand.
The module consists of two elements:
- a cast part reinforcing the microscope arm
- and a mounting screw
The mounting screw itself - as a separate component - fits practically most Carl Zeiss Jena microscopes based on the Amplival system:

Carl Zeiss Jena developed a complete modular microscope system based on connections made with this type of screw. Thanks to this design, the screw as a service part is also compatible with most accessories, modules and components that can be mounted to the microscope, including:
- EPI arms
- Parktaric Zoom Tube module
- Interphako heads
Important - carefully check the shape and dimensions of the screw to make sure it is the size you need. For example, the modular design of the Carl Zeiss Jena Jenamed microscope is based on mounting screws of a different shape and size (search for it in this database for comparison).
