This is description of this part:
Carl Zeiss Jena microscopes

- Amplival
- Fluoval
- Epival
- Interphako
- Vertival
- and other variants
but also Carl Zeiss Jena

- Lg
- Lr
- Lu
- Lumipan
and
- Lomo Biolam
- Bresser Biolam
- Lomo MBB-1A
- and some IOR Bucuresti
have interchangeable objective turrets. This is an excellent solution for storing, using, and quickly replacing entire sets of objectives. For example, you can have separate turrets already equipped with a complete set of objectives:
- low magnification for observing macro objects with side illumination, without a cover glass (e.g., 2.5x / 3.2x / 5x / 8x / 10x)
- for phase contrast
- for various phase contrasts (positive, anoptral, amplitude, Zernike)
- for DIC
- for water immersion (e.g., Lomo)
- all for oil immersion (e.g., Leitz 10x Oil / 25x Oil / 40x Oil / 100x Oil)
- apochromatic for better color
- for polarization
- only high magnifications, e.g., for analyzing cell wall ornamentation (50x / 63x / 80x / 100x)
- for darkfield work (objectives with an iris diaphragm in the center)
Therefore, having only one microscope we can use it for different purposes and not screw in and unscrew all the lenses manually each time.
What is this part needed for?
- if you have a microscope without a turret
- if you need an additional turret
- if you have a 4-position turret and want a 5-position turret
- if your turret is damaged
