Blue matt NCB filter in a mounting frame for the halogen illuminator of Carl Zeiss Jena Technival-2 and Citoval-2 stereo microscopes.
Basic filter parameters:
Filter colour: blue, matt
Function: NCB – converts the yellow light of the halogen lamp into naturally white light
Mounting diameter: adjustable from 25.5 mm to 26 mm
Mechanically, this filter is mounted on the front end of the halogen illuminator (over the light output opening). Its effect is to produce light with a colour similar to that emitted by a cool white LED.
