This eyepiece is most commonly used in following microscopes:
- Carl Zeiss Jena Technival / Technival-2
- Carl Zeiss Jena Citoval / Citoval-2
Although such eyepieces were most commonly used in stereoscopic microscopes, they are often also used in biological microscopes, e.g. Carl Zeiss Jena Ergaval or Carl Zeiss Jena Amplival. This eyepiece is compatible with almost any microscope from any manufacturer, provided that the microscope head supports eyepieces with a mounting diameter of 23.2 mm.
