Part of the large illumination module for Carl Zeiss Jena Fluoval-2 microscope.
This is the element into which the classic bulb illuminator (6V 15W) for transmitted light is inserted. Inside there is a lens that collimates the light beam. In the lower part of this element there are three filter holders and a shutter that allows complete cutoff of this light source.
