The complete upper assembly of the Carl Zeiss Jena Jenalumar microscope, which is also compatible with the Carl Zeiss Jena Jenaval model. In the manufacturer's technical documentation, this element is referred to in German as -Fototubus 100/100 und Tubusträger-.
This is a photographic tube on which a binocular microscope head is mounted - in this configuration it becomes a complete trinocular system. At the top there is an optical output where a camera or photographic device can be mounted.
Basic technical parameters:
- light beam splitting: 0/100 and 100/0
- head mounting method: dovetail 41.5 mm
- mounting method on the photographic port: dovetail 41.5 mm
- internal lens: additional Bertrand lens e.g. for phase contrast adjustment
- extras: slot for installing a filter wheel
Note - despite certain similarities, this microscope element DOES NOT FIT Carl Zeiss Jena Jenamed microscopes.
