This is description of this part:
Complete fine focus block (micro movement / micro focusing) for the Carl Zeiss Jena Lg microscope.
The set consists of:
- brass block with the manufacturer logo
- knobs operating the internal mechanism
- gear assembly forming the fine focus mechanism (it can be removed because it is a replaceable microscope element)
The entire block fits the Carl Zeiss Jena Lg microscope (from the L-Stativ group), however the fine focus mechanism inside can be unscrewed and as far as I know (to the best of my knowledge) it also fits the microscopes:
- Carl Zeiss Jena Lr
- Carl Zeiss Jena Lu
- Carl Zeiss Jena Lumipan
What is this part needed for?
- as a service part in the form of replacing the entire block
- if you need the fine focus mechanism located inside - to use it in another microscope
- if you need a precise vertical or horizontal movement mechanism, for example for super macro photography
