This is description of this part:
Complete condenser vertical movement module for the Carl Zeiss Jena NU / NU-2 microscope.
This is a control knob with an integrated gear for condenser height adjustment together with a rack gear and the component on which the condenser holder is mounted.
Note - this module DOES NOT FIT Carl Zeiss Jena Nf and Carl Zeiss Jena Lu microscopes, even though the assemblies performing the same function in those microscopes look VERY similar.
In the last photos in the gallery, I use arrows to show exactly which microscope component is being offered and where it is located in the Carl Zeiss Jena NU-2 microscope.
What is this part needed for?
- as a service part
- for replacement when the plastic knob is broken
- if the rack has been damaged (this is a very common damage)
- for installation when the entire element is missing
