This accessory is used in Carl Zeiss Jena Amplival/Vertival microscopes to mount the halogen illuminator on the microscope stand.
This accessory contains a collimating lens and a mirror that reflects light vertically upward.
When attached to the Amplival model, this accessory can convert it into a microscope with EPI illumination.
