The Hensoldt Diamal stereo microscope features interchangeable objective lenses (stereo objective pairs) mounted on dovetail joints. The tubes, which are of different lengths for objectives with different magnifications, have threads where the magnifying lenses are inserted.
The item shown here DOES NOT CONTAIN lenses inside ? it is not a working object, but only its housing. This housing comes from the 4x objective lens.
What is this part needed for?
- if you have a objective that needs repair - the mounting slot is damaged, the tubes are missing or crumpled
