This is description of this part:
Arm (stand / body) for the Hertel & Reuss Metall. metallurgical (metallographic) microscope.
- arm
- head mount with holding screw
- revolver for three RMS objectives
- focusing block with knobs and mechanism for fine (micro) and coarse (macro) adjustment
It is very possible that the knobs and mechanism from the focusing block fit other Hertel & Reuss microscope models, such as the CN-fle or Primus, but I have not personally verified this.
What is this part needed for?
- For those who have a damaged component in their "Metall" microscope: head holder, focusing knobs, macro or micro mechanism
- If you want to use these mechanisms in another microscope model, if it's compatible
- If you want to have a spare focusing block, as this is a rare model
