Microscope stages used in Hertel & Reuss microscopes are available in several variants:
- round polarizing microscope stage

- simple microscope stage with specimen clips
- simple microscope stage with a screw-mounted XY cross-slide mechanism
- mechanical microscope stage with an integrated cross-slide mechanism

Mounting method: screw-mounted.

This particular microscope stage was used in a Hertel & Reuss Studio II microscope.
However, it is sufficient to measure the spacing of the mounting screws that attach the stage to the stand and, if they match, to use it with other microscope models as well.

Hertel & Reuss also manufactured microscopes that were sold under other brand names, therefore it is likely that this stage will also fit some microscope models sold under the following names:
