This is description of this part:
Stand and base for the small Leitz Wetzlar Durimet and Leitz Wetzlar Miniload microscope hardness tester.
Basic information:
- The stand column has a diameter of 45 mm.
- This version of the base can be used with transmitted light, although the light source is not included.
- A microscope stage can be mounted on this base – the required mounting holes are provided.
- The stand is equipped with a worm-thread drive.
This heavy and stable stand is often used for applications completely unrelated to hardness testers or microscopes, for example for mounting drill presses, lasers, or stable macro photography setups.
