The eyepiece features an original Leitz format reticle (photography graticule / photo mask) used for precise framing and field-of-view limiting in photomicrography.
The eyepiece fits any microscope from any manufacturer. It can be used with either transmitted or reflected light microscopes, as long as the eyepiece mounting diameter on the microscope head is 30 mm.
