This is the main angular mirror prism from the large, black Lomo AU-26 binocular microscope head.
Typically, in other heads, such prisms are mounted with the head's mounting (usually a dovetail of various sizes). In this case, this is not the case, as the magnification changer is located below the prism, not directly on the mounting socket.
