This is description of this part:
Mount (holder) for interchangeable microscope stage for Lomo microscopes.
This holder fits, among others, the following microscopes:
- Lomo ML-2
- Lomo MBI-11
- Lomo MBI-15
- Lomo Biolam M
- Lomo Biolam I
This holder allows mounting interchangeable stages, i.e. those that are not screwed to the microscope stand. Additionally, it has two centering screws.
In the photo gallery there are detailed photos of this element along with dimensions. In the last photo, an arrow indicates where this element is located in the microscope.
What is this part needed for?
- if you have a microscope in which this holder is missing
- as a replacement part by replacing the entire damaged element
- if you have a microscope in which this element works but is of very poor quality, e.g. has bent or broken centering screws
- if you have a microscope with a holder to which stages are screwed - and you want to use interchangeable stages
