This is description of this part:
This eyepiece tube attaches to the main, wider tube with a mounted revolver (link). This tube supports eyepieces with a mounting diameter of 23.2 mm.
The engraved scale from 150 mm to 200 mm allows for:
- achieving zoom in <> zoom out
- supporting lenses with FL=160/170 and 190 mm
What is this part needed for?
- M9 microscopes available on the secondary market sometimes lack this element.
- Sometimes the eyepiece tube is bent and the eyepiece cannot be mounted to it.
- Sometimes the eyepiece tube gets so stuck in the main tube that it breaks when pulled out.
