This is description of this part:
Stand base with support column for the Lomo MMU-3 / MMY-3 metallurgical microscope.
This base contains an opening for mounting a technical or toolmakers microscope stage. It is also possible to mount a specialized stage on the side rails - these rails are visible in the photographs and are located on both sides of this stand base.
In the last photograph, on the scanned page from the Lomo MMU-1 microscope manual, an arrow indicates which component is being offered and where it is located in the microscope, allowing this part to be identified unambiguously.
What is this part needed for?
- if you own an MMU-3 microscope body and you are missing the stand
- if you want to use this stand with another toolmakers microscope, stereoscopic microscope, metallurgical microscope or measuring microscope
