This is a service element (spare part) of the PZO MPI5 and MPI3 DIC head, which is part of the PZO UPI set (sometimes written as PZO UPJ).
Note - in the terminology of PZO the name "MPI5" has two meanings, which causes some confusion:
- MPI5 is the name of a DIC microscope based on the PZO MB-30 stand, KPI-2 condenser and the DIC head model MPI3
- MPI5 is also the name of the latest DIC head that is part of the PZO UPI set (PL: Urzadzenie Polaryzacyjno-Interferencyjne)
What is this part needed for?
- as a service part when the micrometer adjustment knob installed in the PZO MPI3 / MPI5 DIC head is damaged
