Here I offer the illumination module block from the microscope base (known as the "metal tube").
The complete illumination system in the PZO MB-30 / MB-30S microscope base consists of:
- an illuminator (light source)
- a "tube" containing a collimating lens and a field diaphragm
- a screw securing the tube
- an angle mirror that reflects light at 90 degrees
Two components of this tube are offered here:
- a metal tube with a lens collimating the illumination beam
- a metal tube with a field diaphragm (iris diaphragm)
There are two critical components here: the collimating lens, which often cracks under temperature, and the field diaphragm, whose blades are prone to bending.
