This is description of this part:
Focusing block for PZO microscopes:
- MB 30
- MB 30S
- ML 4
- ML 5
- ML 6
NOTE - IMPORTANT - This block does not include a fine (micro) feed mechanism. This block only includes a coarse (macro) feed mechanism.
More specifically, if such a block were complete, it would also include a fine (micro) feed module. This module is simply not included in the unit offered here. Therefore, it is an attractive component for those looking to repair a coarse (macro) feed.
- Black focusing block
- Coarse (macro) feed gear system
- Coarse (macro) feed knobs
- Coaxial fine (micro) feed knobs
- Tension adjustment mechanism
The tension adjustment mechanism is a very important component of a microscope. The PZO MB-30 and ML series microscopes move the entire column (the entire arm) up and down, and this resistance adjustment mechanism prevents the arm from lowering itself if additional components are installed, such as a DIC head or a camera on a trinocular head (as they constitute additional weight).
If you need a precise (micro) movement mechanism, which is missing here, if you need a complete focusing block, or if you need individual components from this block (e.g., a single gear or just the knobs), please contact us
What is this part needed for?
- as a service part to replace the macro mechanism
- if you only need individual gears
- if you only need knobs
- if you need a stop mechanism, as the knob used to adjust it breaks very often
