This is a prism for the right (R) microscope eyepiece for the PZO MND-5 binocular head.
The prism is equipped with metal holders that allow adjustment of the prism in order to achieve perfect image collimation, that is, so that the images for the left and right eye are aligned.
VERY IMPORTANT: this prism is installed under the RIGHT eyepiece. The left and right prisms DIFFER and must not be interchanged.

What is this part needed for?
- if your head is delaminating, chipped, cracked, scratched, or discolored on the prism
- if the mirror surface is oxidized
- if fungus (mold) has destroyed the anti-reflective surface
