This is description of this part:
Eyepiece tube for eyepieces with diameter 23.2 mm and left eyepiece prism for the PZO MND-6 microscope head.

This repair part (service element / replacement part) comes from a binocular head PZO MND-6 which was originally mounted on the microscopes:
- PZO Biolar DIC
- PZO Biolar B
However, because the PZO MND-6 head has a standard mounting interface typical for PZO microscopes (that is a dovetail mount with a diameter of 43 mm), this head can also be found mounted on other PZO microscopes such as:
- Studar
- MB-30
Additional information: the fluorescence microscope PZO Biolar FL was originally sold with a mono head (monocular head) - however the PZO MND6 head also fits this microscope model.
Hinweis - this tube with prism DOES NOT FIT heads that were originally sold with PZO Studar microscopes, even though these heads look very similar. Of course if a head from the Biolar model was mounted on a Studar microscope (because it fits), then this tube will be compatible, because it is a repair element for the HEAD and not for a specific microscope model.
What is this part needed for?
- as a service part in the form of a complete replacement module
- very often this tube is dented and an eyepiece cannot be inserted
- if this element in the head you own is of very poor quality
- if the eyepiece prism has been damaged (for example chipped, fungus has damaged the anti-reflection surface, the mirror surface has oxidized or has detached)
