Rotation: 360 degrees with 0.1 degree accuracy using a vernier scale

Note - there is some confusion in commonly used terminology and foreign or even incorrect names are often used. The most common mistake is that the analyzer is referred to as a polarizer - and unfortunately this mistake is so widespread that it has to be taken into account. This slide has two positions:
- for brightfield operation (zero glass with anti-reflection coating)
- for polarized light operation (rotatable polarization filter).
