Dovetail rail connector with clamping screw for mounting the intermediate tube to the arm of the Reichert Austria Zetopan microscope.
This is the mounting interface for the main optical tube, with the photo port on one side and the dovetail rail for attaching the objective nosepiece on the other.
The clamping screw securing this component in the Reichert Austria Zetopan microscope very often breaks or gets lost. When this happens, the specially shaped clamping piece usually falls out as well, making a microscope service part such as the one presented here necessary.
