Tube with image-transferring optics (relay) for the Carl Zeiss Axiovert 100 / 100M microscopes
This is a massive metal tube with a set of lenses inside. The tube transfers the image from the objectives through the whole stand to the head mount. This part has no counterpart in upright biological microscopes.
There is no catalogue number anywhere on this part. That may suggest the manufacturer did not intend it as a part to be replaced by the user, one that could be ordered from service.
The last photos in the gallery show the stand of the Carl Zeiss Axiovert 100M microscope, with an arrow pointing to the place where this part is located. This allows you to identify it without any doubt.
I was not able to confirm it, but it is possible that this tube with optics also fits the inverted microscopes Zeiss Axiovert 135 / 135M. Before you decide to use it in the Axiovert 135 / 135M models, please check this on forums or groups devoted to Zeiss microscopes.
