This is description of this part:
Voltage indicator (voltmeter) for the Carl Zeiss Photomicroscope III RS microscope.
This module is located on the front of the microscope base. In the operating manual (available here: https://www.science-info.net/docs/zeiss/Photomicroscope3-Transmitted-Light.pdf) it is identified as item 13 (figure on page 4).
The indicator displays the supply voltage of the microscope illumination. The scale provides readings in the ranges of 0–12 V and 0–6 V.
