This is description of this part:
Slide with fixed polarizing filter, i.e., Pol-Analyzer for Zeiss microscopes.
The slide also contains a second field (for work with unpolarized light) where a colorless filter is placed (presumably "zero glass").
This particular specimen comes from a Zeiss Universal microscope, but Zeiss uses the same slide standard in other models as well, e.g., Photomicroscope (Phomi) and Ultraphot.
These slides were produced in various versions, differing in minor details but with no difference in function.
