This is not transmitted-light fluorescence. - this illuminator requires a Carl Zeiss Jena SH 50 power supply for operation - the Carl Zeiss Jena Jenalumar microscope was produced in two variants - this illuminator fits the Jenalumar version with two small, separate illumination modules - information can be found on the Internet claiming that this illuminator is suitable for Carl Zeiss Jena Jenavert microscopes. This is NOT correct. - an HBO lamp is not the same as an XBO lamp. - Jenamed microscopes other than the "Fluorescence" version have a differently mounted head and this illuminator CANNOT be installed on them. Important - operating used, overheated HBO lamps, lamps with unknown operating time or from an uncertain source may result in explosion, damage to the illuminator, contamination of the room and a risk to the user's life and health.
