For example, the "PZO Biolar" is a microscope. For example, the "PZO MND-4 Binocular Microscope Head" is a microscope element, which fits various microscopes and has its own parts (components).

For example, a "microscope head" is a "microscope part" because it is a component of a microscope, but it is also a "microscope element" because it itself is composed of smaller parts.
However, a "mirror prism" is, for example, a "microscope head part" — that is, an "part for a microscope element."

No – this list contains all microscopes and microscope elements from all manufacturers in our database.

Manufacturer is the name of the company that produced a given microscope model. This microscope consists of elements (which can be disassembled even further) and smaller parts. And presenting these parts is the main purpose of this website, this database.

The list has two parts: first the microscope models, then the larger microscope elements. Within each part the entries are grouped by manufacturer - clicking a manufacturer name unfolds its models. Every model we have at least one microscope part for in the database is listed.

You will see the list on the website after clicking on the name of the microscope or microscope element in this table, as the name is linked.
It contains detailed information about the available parts, their categorization, and sometimes additional information about the microscope, such as photos, a link to an image gallery of this microscope or microscope element, or external links to descriptions.

Because this is just a list. It is neither a shop nor an image gallery.
