The first-generation models - BA210 (binocular and trinocular), BA210LED, BA210 Digital / BA210-DL - were fitted with CCIS EF-N Plan Achromat objectives: 4x/0.10, 10x/0.25, 40x/0.65 (spring-loaded) and 100x/1.25 (spring-loaded, oil). Field number 20, N-WF10x/20 mm eyepieces, reversed quadruple nosepiece.
The later-generation models - BA210E (Elite), BA210S, and the BA210ET-PH and BA210E Digital variants - carry CCIS EC Plan Achromat objectives, described by the manufacturer as the second generation of EC optics. Motic states RoHS compliance and lead-free manufacturing for them, along with improved field flatness, longer working distances and an anti-fungus treatment. The field number remained 20.
Both generations share the RMS thread and the 45 mm parfocal distance, so the objectives are mechanically and optically interchangeable between them; Motic lists the EC PL objectives as valid for BA210, BA210E, BA310 and BA310E at the same time.
