This export version was sold in Western Europe, primarily under the Bresser brand. Biolam microscopes were sold under this name (thus as Bresser Biolam). NOTE - a small batch of these microscopes was sold under the Bresser Erudit name - but the "Erudit" is now a completely different Bresser microscope. This is an exact clone of the Carl Zeiss Jena microscope head and is therefore very commonly used for these microscopes. Note: The 1.5x magnification head requires a relatively large amount of light. Furthermore, the optimal image is obtained with 7x or 8x eyepieces (the maximum is 10x). Higher eyepiece magnification results in "empty magnification" and the image may not be sharp.
