This objective works properly only with the Zeiss Primostar line. It does not work properly with other Zeiss microscopes, even if they also have an RMS thread and are infinity corrected.
NOTE: many sources state that the Zeiss objective P/N 415500-1611-001 is the successor of this objective. This is not true. In fact, Zeiss 415500-1611-001 is a 40x objective designed for use without a cover glass, mainly for reflected-light (EPI) work.
