Only towards the end of its operations did Hertel & Reuss begin producing microscopes with objectives having a 45 mm parfocal length. These were the Hertel & Reuss Labopan and Superpan models. Previously, microscopes from this company used objectives with a 37 mm parfocal length.

This objective fits practically any microscope from any manufacturer, provided that it has an RMS thread and supports objectives with TL=160 mm. Several examples of such microscopes are listed in the "Compatibility" section, but this is not a complete list.
