Note: this is an objective for an inverted microscope, therefore it is corrected for observation through a 1.0 mm cover glass
It can be used with any inverted microscope from any manufacturer together with a compatible phase contrast condenser (or slider with phase rings). Of course the microscope must be compatible, i.e. support RMS objectives, TL=160 mm, FL=45 mm.
It can very likely also be used with other inverted Zeiss microscopes (e.g. Axiovert 25).
What is this part needed for?
- If you have a microscope without objectives and need to restock it using original parts
- If you have a microscope that doesn't have an objective lens with this magnification and want to restock it
- If you have such an objective lens, but it's of very poor quality or damaged
- If you're cautious and want to have a spare objective lens
