Note: Please examine the photos carefully. If I have more than one of this part, some of the screws may show traces of improper (forceful) unscrewing. These are not major traces - mostly minor scratches. Of course, they do not affect the functionality of the element at all.

Note - some models have different screw dimensions, for example, longer ones.

Note - in microscopes with a centering stage holder (for polarizing stages), this screw may be different.

Note - the small screw at the front of this part unscrews in the OPPOSITE direction than most screws, and this is the most common cause of damage.

• Sometimes this screw is missing in used microscopes.
• Very often, the tiny screw in this element is broken or missing.
• This element often has dried grease.
• This screw is often damaged because when it wouldn't turn due to dried grease, someone used pliers to turn it.
