Meopta RU2 - 1/4 Lambda and Quartz RI polarization microscope slide (quarter wavelength) petrographic - photo gallery

This is description of this part:

Compensating Insert for a 1/4 Lambda Polarizing/Petrographic Microscope (Quarter Wave Plate) with a Quartz R I Compensator

The insert I'm offering here is from a Meopta RU-2 microscope, but from what I understand, it also fits the DRU-3. I also saw an older Meopta polarizing microscope with a vertically oriented head?and it probably uses the same insert standard.

According to Meopta documentation (DRU-3 microscope brochure), this insert has the following parameters:
- 1/4 Lambda 147 ~ um
- R I 551 ~ um
- Dimensions 4 x 12 mm
