This is the part responsible for the audible and palpable "click" when rotating the condenser, and for the condenser stopping in the correct position. This part is a plate that fits into the appropriate recess (detent).
Fits pancratic condensers used in the Carl Zeiss Jena Amplival microscopes.
Does not fit the black pancratic condenser used in the Carl Zeiss Jena Lumipan / Nf / Nu microscope.
