If the microscope is additionally equipped with GF-Planachromat series widefield objectives (or GF-Planapochromat objectives used in Docuval microscopes) - this creates the best possible combination for Carl Zeiss Jena microscopes with a 160 mm tube length.

This microscope head model is identical to the Baader Mark V binocular viewer used in astronomical telescopes and is often purchased by astronomy enthusiasts and adapted for telescope mounting.
