This microscope component allows simultaneous visual observation and image capture (photography or video recording) on the LOMO MBC-10 (Lytkarino) stereo microscope.

The designation MBC-10 is the Cyrillic spelling. The equivalent name written in the Latin alphabet is MBS-10.

The MBC-10 microscope was also sold under the following names:
