Zeiss Axioplan 2 microscope 452143 trinocular head case - thumbnail [ 99899 ]	SERMIK_ID number under which this microscope part is placed in the database. 99899	Zeiss Axioplan 2 microscope 452143 trinocular head case	The name of this microscope part. Zeiss Axioplan 2 microscope 452143 trinocular head case	Description of this part for the microscope. Top part of the housing (cover) of the microscope trinocular head P/N 45 21 43 for Carl Zeiss Axioplan 2 microscopes. Since this is a brittle casting, ... the housing can crumble, crack or break. The remedy for such a problem is then the replacement of the whole head or of this housing part only. Inside the housing there is the eyepiece shutter together with the knob for sliding it. This is the housing of the head, not the housing of the microscope. The 452143 head itself fits directly on the Carl Zeiss Axioplan 2, Axioplan 2 imaging and Axiophot 2 microscopes, and with the 452969 adapter it is also used on Axioskop 2 stands. This part therefore fits every 452143 head, regardless of which microscope that head is working on. Names, descriptions, terms, and search contexts under which this part is searched. The same tube lens model is fitted in various head models for Zeiss Axioplan 2 microscopes: - Zeiss 452142 - Zeiss 452143 - Zeiss 452145 - Zeiss 452146 The Zeiss 452149 tube lens is necessary, among other things, to use infinity corrected Zeiss microscope objectives on microscopes of other manufacturers - including those with a finite 160 mm tube length. It is also very often used in super macro photography, to connect infinity corrected objectives to a photo camera. This part can be the answer to the following questions: - What to do when the Zeiss 452149 tube lens is damaged, scratched or of poor quality? - Can Zeiss objectives be used on a microscope from another manufacturer? - Can infinity corrected objectives be used on a 160 mm type microscope? - How to take super macro photos using infinity corrected microscope objectives? Zeiss Axioplan 2 microscope sliding prism knob for 452143 trinocular head - thumbnail [ 99900 ]	SERMIK_ID number under which this microscope part is placed in the database. 99900	Zeiss Axioplan 2 microscope sliding prism knob for 452143 trinocular head	The name of this microscope part. Zeiss Axioplan 2 microscope sliding prism knob for 452143 trinocular head	Description of this part for the microscope. Knob for moving the prism, for Zeiss 452143 trinocular heads and similar ones. The Zeiss 452143 microscope head, used mainly in Zeiss Axioplan 2 microscopes, ... has three light splitting modes: - 0 / 100 - 50 / 50 - 100 / 0 The prism sits on a carriage and slides on rails - and this knob shown here is what moves it. In the last photo an arrow shows where this part is located in the head, so that it can be identified without any doubt. This particular knob was removed from a Zeiss 452143 microscope head - but most probably it also fits other heads of the Zeiss AIM systems and of Zeiss Axioplan 2 microscopes, for example: - Zeiss 452142 - Zeiss 452143 - Zeiss 452145 - Zeiss 452146 These photo-trino heads are used, directly or through suitable adapters, among others in the following microscopes: - Zeiss Axioplan 2 - Zeiss Axioskop 2 - Zeiss Axiophot 2 - Zeiss AIM - Zeiss Axiotech - and probably others Names, descriptions, terms, and search contexts under which this part is searched.
