Carl Zeiss Jena Ergaval / Amplival microscope coarse and fine focus lock washer

Multi-tooth locking washer (alternative name: bendable tab washer) - a service component of the coarse focus and fine focus mechanism responsible for vertical movement in the microscope.

As far as I know, the same mechanism is used in the following Carl Zeiss Jena microscopes:
- Ergaval
- Amplival
- Fluoval
- Vertival
- Epival
- Docuval
- Metaval
- Peraval

This component is installed onto the shaft by sliding the internal tab into the keyway groove on the shaft. After tightening the round slotted nut, a locking mechanism is created that prevents the nut from loosening on its own due to vibration.
