Carl Zeiss Jena microscope quarter-wave plate, 1/4 lambda polarization filter slider C

C-type slider with a 1/4 Lambda polarizing filter, i.e., a quarter-wave plate (quarter-wave glass). The exact dimensions are shown in the photos.

It originally came from an EPI-POL illuminator for the Carl Zeiss Jena NU microscope, but as far as I know, the same sliders are compatible with the polarizing kit for the Carl Zeiss Jena Lg, NF, and Polmi-A polarizing microscopes. It's very possible it fits other configurations I'm not aware of, or even microscopes from other manufacturers.
