"Leica DMLD" is an analogue photomicrography system. A standard 35 mm camera is connected to shutter unit 093-050.001-000 (legacy part number 541045). Among its connectors is a male DB15 connector labelled "control panel or power supply". The shutter operates together with the Leica DMLD control panel P/N 301-385.001 (legacy part number 541044).
The entire system is very similar to the earlier MPS52 system (Leitz Leica MPS 52 / Wild Leitz MPS 52).
Based on the following observations:
- the controller offered here is also designated "Leica DMLD"
- part number 301-385.160 belongs to the same numbering group as control panel 301-385.001 (group 301-385.xxx)
- the legacy number 541065 belongs to the same 5410xx numbering group as the shutter controller and the control panel
I believe — although I do not have access to documentation that could confirm this — that this unit is also part of the Leica DMLD analogue photomicrography system, most likely serving as a power supply and shutter control module with provision for connecting a foot switch.
