Description

Microscope head mounting bracket for attaching the microscope head to the stand of microscopes based on the N-117M / DN-117M models.

Mechanically, this mounting bracket is located at the end of the microscope stand arm. The microscope head is mounted to this bracket from above, while the objective nosepiece is located below it.

The entire mounting module for both the microscope head and the objective nosepiece consists of the following elements:
- the mounting socket into which the microscope head dovetail is inserted
- the clamping screw that secures the microscope head in this connection
- the Telan lens screwed into this mounting socket, which also holds the objective nosepiece

Here I am presenting the first of these elements – the microscope head connection (mounting socket / bracket).

This is certainly not a complete list – many sellers give the microscopes they sell their own names (just like Delta Optical in Poland). The best way to check whether this microscope part fits your microscope is to compare the appearance of your microscope with the microscope from which this microscope part was removed ([[ LINK ]]).

The N-117M model has a binocular or trinocular head, while the DN-117M model has a built-in digital USB camera (hence the “D” at the beginning of the name, for “Digital”) – but the microscope head mounting bracket is the same in all versions of this model.

The last photo in the gallery shows the stand of an N-117M type microscope, with an arrow indicating which microscope part is being described and where it is located. This helps prevent any confusion when identifying the microscope part.
