The microscope head of a PZO MST-130 stereo microscope consists of (from top to bottom):
- eyepieces
- they are inserted into eyepiece tubes (so-called tubes)
- these tubes are mounted in the housing section that covers the prisms; these prism covers are screwed to the bottom part of the head
- prism cages (holders, frames) with prisms inside
- these prism cages are mounted to the bottom part of the head
The bottom part of the head, i.e. the component offered here, consists of:
- a dovetail mounting connection used to attach the head to the microscope stand
- lenses
- a mechanism for interpupillary distance adjustment
