Microscope spare part for servicing the heads of microscopes from the Stemi D series by Carl Zeiss West Germany.

This element performs two functions:
- it is the left metal holder for the eyepiece prism
- at the same time it is the mounting thread into which the eyepiece tube is screwed

Important: this is the LEFT prism holder. In the head of the Zeiss DRC microscope (and other Stemi D series models) there are two such holders - left and right - and they are not identical.

This element is made of an alloy that very often breaks (this can be seen in one of the last photos in the gallery).

- Zeiss DV-4

This microscope part may solve the following problems occurring in a Zeiss Stemi D, DR, DRC or DV 4 microscope:

  • eyepiece tube cannot be screwed in
  • thread inside the head is broken
  • damaged microscope head
