Adapter for attaching a camera to the Carl Zeiss ICM 405 inverted microscope.

This adapter is mounted in the socket located at the bottom of the front panel of the microscope body (see the last photo in the gallery). It is a replaceable component – the manufacturer provides various adapters for connecting different cameras at this location.

The Carl Zeiss ICM 405 inverted microscope is an advanced version of the Carl Zeiss IM 35 inverted microscope. The main differences between the ICM 405 and the IM 35 are the ICM 405's more advanced microphotography capabilities.
