Zeiss Standard microscope head holder centering screw
Main Photo
Description
Zeiss Standard microscope head holder centering screwCentering screw for the microscope head (e.g., binocular head or trinocular head) mounted on the stand of the Carl Zeiss Standard series microscopes.
This particular screw was removed from a Zeiss Standard 14 microscope, but it will most likely fit most models of the Standard series, for example:
- Zeiss Standard GFL
- Zeiss Standard 16
- Zeiss Standard WL 89
- Zeiss Standard Universal
- Zeiss Standard Photomicroscope
- Zeiss Ultraphot
Note - over the years, Zeiss microscopes (or the same microscopes sold under the Zeiss-Winkel name or under the Opton brand), especially simpler models such as the Zeiss Standard Junior, used different types of head-centering screws. These were not necessarily this type - in some cases ordinary threaded clamping screws were used instead.
Before deciding to replace the screw in a microscope, it is best to carefully compare its appearance and dimensions with the photographs in the gallery or ask a question on the forum https://www.mikroskopie-forum.de/
In the last photos in the gallery, I use arrows to show exactly which microscope component is being offered and where it is in the microscope located .
